SPIRIT Resource Center
This collection is currently under development! As we gather resources, we will provide links to resources for K-14 educators. These
resources will include reference materials and practical classroom materials, such as lesson plans. If you would like to submit a resource of interest
to us, we would be happy to evaluate it for inclusion in the resource center.
Be sure to check back periodically for new materials! We will announce new resources of interest in our "SPIRIT News" feed.

Featured Resource: SOS for Info Literacy
S.O.S. for Information Literacy is a free, web-based resource that includes lesson plans, handouts, presentations, videos and other resources to enhance the teaching of research skills. These skills enable students to effectively locate, organize, evaluate, manage and use information.
The site includes materials for instruction at the elementary, secondary and higher education levels. Search and download a lesson plan for your classroom!
For example, if you teach Grades 9-10, download an earth sciences lesson plan that shows students how to use online weather data to predict the weather for next few days. Students will research current weather data and then present their information in a podcast.
