OBJECTIVE:  To evaluate different websites for their accuracy, objectivity, currency and coverage.

One way to be sure to locate websites that have already been evaluated by the criteria above is to look in a specialized search engine:

But sometimes, you run across a website that looks like it's on your topic, and you have to judge for yourself.
 
 
FICTIONAL SCENARIO: The following discussion items are on your local school board agenda. The school board has hired you as their consultants to do some background research on these topics and to provide them with some websites that will help inform their decision-making.  Working in pairs, you will each examine 3-4 websites on your subject. Using this worksheet, you will decide whether to include the website into the briefing book you are preparing for the school board members.

This is not about your ability to locate websites -- that has been done for you, below. The object of this assignment is to use your judgement about whether the websites listed below are good, and worthy of your recommendation.
