In order to complete the reading assignments and submit discussion questions for this course and prepare a research study proposal and presentation to successfully fulfill the course expectations, this handout has been created.  It is prepared in two sections:  Psychology content and Legal content and will introduce you to appropriate resources and methods to help you find the information you need.

 

Remember that you want to:

  • Outline the issue(s) and its significance
  • Summarizes relevant psychological research
  • Summarizes relevant legal principles
  • Integrate information in order to draw conclusions about the current "state of the field" on this topic

           

Psychology Content - material on this topic is proliferating quickly and there are many resources.  In order to find journal articles you may want to use the following databases:
